Description
This colourful keyring in striking shades of blue and orange is based on a specially commissioned painting by Rob Wilson. Wilson is a mixed media artist based in the heart of the Peak District working in acrylics, freehand embroidery and collage to create his rich and atmospheric paintings of cityscapes. Looking closely at this work, it is possible to see the small pieces of paper ephemera that Wilson gathered from Westminster Abbey and its surroundings, including the floor plan and an engraving of the censing angels in Poets' Corner. This vibrant portrait of Westminster Abbey depicts the building in all its architectural glory, in the heart of London.
