People of Westminster Abbey William Shakespeare Pin Badge

ore than 3,300 people are buried and many others commemorated at Westminster Abbey. Our historic church has also been the setting for every coronation since 1066, and for many other royal occasions, including 16 weddings. The inspiration behind our exclusive ‘People of Westminster Abbey’ range was commissioned to remember just a few of these famous faces.

Designed by British illustrator, Kirsty R. Walker, this pin badge features a hand-drawn illustration of famous playwright, William Shakespeare (1564 - 1616). There is a life-size white marble statue of Shakespeare in Westminster Abbey's Poets' Corner, that was erected in 1741.
