Rory Hutton is an Irish accessories and print designer based in Glasgow and London. His work is inspired by history and heritage, passion and poetry. His work starts as drawings, which are turned into linocuts and hand printed before being digitally composed and coloured. The designs are then sent to Lake Como in Italy where they are digitally printed on to the finest Italian silk
Our exclusive Elizabeth I scarf is inspired by a portrait of Elizabeth that hangs in the Deanery of Westminster Abbey. Elizabeth holds a glove in one hand and a feather fan in the other, which can be seen in the centre of the scarf. Tudor roses and fleur de lys that surround Elizabeth I's ornate tomb can also be seen in the design.
