Description
This elegant gold plated lapel pin features a sculpted patonce cross, taken from the coat of arms assigned to St Edward the Confessor, set in blue enamel. Handmade in the UK with a wing back fastening and presented in a satin lined gift box with a story card, they would make a stylish gift. There is a matching tie and cufflinks available.
The patonce cross emblem can be also seen at the western tower entrance to Westminster Abbey alongside the following inscription adapted from a grace said after meals, dating from the reign of Elizabeth I.

The cross and inscription were unveiled in 1993 to mark the completion of the restoration of the western towers.
