St. George and the Dragon Roundel

Out of stock
  • Exclusively designed and made for Westminster Abbey this roundel depicts St. George fighting the dragon.
This design is from the quatrefoil of the window in Westminster Abbey which was installed to commemorate Sir Benjamin Baker (1840-1907). He was a famous British civil engineer and builder of the Forth Bridge.
The window was designed by J. Ninian Comper and unveiled on 3 December 1909.
Each roundel is hand painted in the UK, by Winged Heart, and gives the appearance of stained glass. Finished with a hanging chain and window suction cup to allow for its display..
